Petala Ironcloud is a CA-born Lakota/Dakota and Jewish writer and textile artist based in NYC. Previously, he sat on the board of the American Indian Cultural Center of San Francisco, working with the Mayor’s office to launch the American Indian Cultural District, the first of its kind in the US. Their writing has been published in the New York Times, The Business of Fashion, PAPER Magazine, and others.
